This interesting etnographic  Congolese collection dates back to the early XX century (first decades). These items were collected by Temistocle Ferrante , appointed as magistrate by the Belgian government in the former colony of Congo.

On display are everyday life objects, tools and weapons. Unusual are the blades, hooks and chains used during the gruesome rituals of the “leopard men”, who were active for a long time in those lands.
