Creating thread figures means passing and receiving, choosing threads or letting them go, making and unmaking, tracing and following a plot in the dark, to inscribe other stories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F\u00d2RO F\u00d2RO<\/strong>is the public event that follows the practices acted out in <em>Verso l\u2019immagine<\/em>, a workshop that puts blind and sighted people in dialogue through <strong>Braille<\/strong> and <strong>Embroidery<\/strong>, two different languages but united by the imprinting of a surface, revealing a tactile image.<\/p>\n<p>For Lenz, the artist will expose himself in the making and speaking of words, alluding to the interchange between <em>f\u00f2ro<\/em>, an ancient place linked to the gathering of the community, trade, politics and justice, and <em>f\u00f3ro<\/em>, which refers to a hole to enter and exit through.<\/p>\n<p>After a period of study at the Sala Bottego of the <strong>Museum of Natural History<\/strong> of the University of Parma, the artist will conduct his residency at Lenz Teatro (via Pasubio 3\/e Parma), where both the performance, at 7 p.m. the <strong>12 and 13 October<\/strong>, both the research seminar <strong>DECOLONIZZARE IL MUSEO<\/strong> with free participation), at 4.30 p.m. on <strong>13 October<\/strong>, during which <strong>Muna Mussie<\/strong> will dialogue with scholar <strong>Sofia Bacchini<\/strong> of the Centro Studi Movimenti di Parma and L&#8217;Orientale University of Naples and with the Director of the Museum of Natural History of the University of Parma <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/personale.unipr.it\/it\/ugovdocenti\/person\/16125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Davide Persico<\/a><\/strong> n how to reconstruct a curation of goods taken from non-Western subjectivities, in an attempt to re-appropriate the Eritrean Bottego zoological collection through a decolonial analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Muna Mussie<\/strong> (Eritrea 1978) began her artistic career in 1998, training and working as an actress and performer with Teatrino Clandestino and Teatro Valdoca.
