SUMMARY:Iphigenia in Tauride
DESCRIPTION:The second stage\, on Thursday 6 July at 9 p.m.\, of the diptych dedicated to the myth of Iphigenia and the result of a triple inspiration: Goethe’s drama Iphigenie auf Tauris (1787)\, Gluck’s opera Iphigénie en Tauride (1779) and Joseph Beuys’ action Titus-Iphigenie (1969). \nMonica Barone\, with stage installation and direction by Maria Federica Maestri and imagoturgy by Francesco Pititto \, brings herself and her life onto the stage through a contemporary ritual that requires dance beyond words\, beyond gesture\, in order to be free to rewrite her own history and to transform the world through the emergence of a language from the depths. \nThe event\, entitled\, Iphigenia in Tauride\, will take place in the Chiostro dei Paolotti. \nShow suitable for all\, extra charge \nTickets:\n€ 12 full price\n€ 8 reduced (under 30\, students\, AUSL employees\, Carta DOC)\n€ 6 reduced students and UNIPR employees \nWhen: Thursday 6 July – 9 pm\nWhere: Chiostro dei Paolotti – Strada D’Azeglio\, 85 – Parma
