The ‘Martedì…Orto che parla’ events are back
The ‘Martedì… Orto che parla’ initiative is back for its 2026 edition!
The series of events, organised with the support of the Amici dell’Orto Botanico Association, will combine lectures, field trips and a theatrical performance.
On 28 April, Nicola Franchini from the University of Parma will speak about an extreme environment: the Chilean desert. On 5 May, Alessandro Petraglia, a lecturer in the Department of Chemical, Life and Environmental Sustainability Sciences, will discuss the effects of climate change on the mountain environment.
This will be followed by two field trips: a walk along the banks of the River Parma and a visit to the Iris Garden in Faviano.
