In 2012 the Botanical Garden participated in the annual project (PANN12_00795) “ORTO BOTANICO E TERRITORIO: COLLEZIONI BOTANICHE E BIODIVERSITA’ VEGETALE NEI TERRITORI DELL’EMILIA” financed in part by the MIUR for Law 6/2000 – Dissemination of scientific culture and jointly presented by the University of Parma, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and ‘La Pica’ Giardino Botanico ONLUS in Mirandola (MO).
The project was illustrated during the conference “Perspectives on the Enhancement of the Science Museums of the University of Parma”, which took place at the University of Parma on 17 May 2013 on the occasion of the ICOM Day.
