Inaugurated in June 2004, on the occasion of the World Year of Physics, “Microcosm with a View” is a permanent scientific exhibition of the University of Parma organised in collaboration with the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), the Istituto Materiali per l’Elettronica e il Magnetismo (IMEM) and the European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN). ‘Microcosmos’ aims to bring visitors closer to the world of elementary particles, thanks to interactive exhibits and a series of real working instruments that allow them to ‘experiment’ in real time. A short journey into microcosm to discover the secrets of the subatomic world.
